PlatiMo Service for Retail Clients

Kombank PlatiMo Service represents a brand new and unique system which enables the Bank's clients to make payments directly from their mobile phones, in an extremely easy and completely safe way.

Which new options are available to retail clients through Kombank PlatiMo Service?

Advantages of Kombank PlatiMo Service:

security: digital signature (WPKI), communication is performed through protected channel whereas the information about the payment being performed is sent by SMS
easy to use: in order to perform a transaction you are no longer required to enter creditor's account number, amount, model, reference number... just confirm the transaction by entering sPIN
applicable in general to all payments performed by directly debiting the user's account held with the bank
speed: the whole payment process is completed in a very short time
quality
no time or space limitations
the Service is available on all mobile phone models

How to become user?

To become a user of the PlatiMo Service, you need to:

have a current account opened with Komercijalna banka
have a mobile phone which uses Telenor SIM card with digital certificate
complete Kombank PlatiMo – Application Form for Retail Clients (1 copy);
complete the Agreement on PlatiMo Services for Retail Clients (2 copies);
please enclose a photocopy of your identity card

In order to become a user of the PlatiMo Service, the Bank's client must have a postpaid number in Telenor mobile network operator and is also required to replace, in the nearest Telenor shop, the existing SIM card with a new SIM card which contains a digital certificate. The clients will become the users of the PlatiMo Service by simply activating the service at the Bank's counters.

PlatiMo mobile payment service is equally intended for corporate and retail clients.
The above mentioned documents can be delivered to the nearest branch of Komercijalna banka, whereas the Telenor SIM card with a digital certificate is obtained in Telenor shop.

Security

WPKI technology (Wireless Public Key Infrastructure) provides the users with as equally high level of security in performing transactions, as does smart card with qualified digital certificate when using PCs for e-banking. This is considered the strongest (commercial) form of securing transactions in e-banking.
